The Agawam DPW has two very important messages regarding today’s snow storm.
First: A parking ban is in effect now until midnight, Wednesday, January 17th. No on-street parking is allowed during the parking ban.
Second: All trash and recycling collections are cancelled for Wednesday, January 17th. Residents should remove all trash and recycling containers from the tree belt until 6AM Thursday morning. Any carts left on the curb and damaged, will be the responsibility of the home owner to replace.
All remaining trash and recycling collections will be on a one day delay for the remainder of this week with Friday collections to be picked up on Saturday.
