There will be a planned phone service outage effecting all Municipal buildings starting at 3pm today, Monday June 12, 2023. The outage is expected to last for up to 60 minutes. The purpose of this outage is to improve the stability and reliability of our phone service.
During this upgrade, phone service to all municipal buildings will be temporarily unavailable for approximately 60 minutes. However, we want to assure you that phone service to Agawam Public Schools will not be affected by this outage.
We also want to emphasize that emergency services will not be impacted by this upgrade. The 911 service will continue to operate as usual, ensuring that you can reach help in case of an emergency.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this temporary interruption, but we believe that the upgraded phone service will greatly benefit our community in the long run. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve Agawam’s municipal phone service.
