Agawam Announces Major Enhancements to its Website
The City of Agawam is pleased to announce that it is launching a major overhaul of its website on July 28, 2022.
Mayor William Sapelli said, “Agawam’s website is on a three-year review and update cycle. We are excited to unveil a new, cleaner, more modern looking site along with significant improvements to our homepage to be more user friendly.”
The homepage of any website is the visitors’ first impression. It is vital to periodically review and improve our site to better suit the needs of our residents and users. We are excited to reveal the following new features:
- The new Help Center contains links to the frequently searched content areas and is strategically placed in the middle of the page for greater visibility.
- We added a new page titled “Elected Officials.” Which allows you to locate information about each of these individuals along with their contact information.
- We changed the color scheme and bolded the font size to provide an easier to read, more current presentation.
- The homepage now has meeting and community events calendars for your convenience.
- We added Facebook updates to the home page.
With these improvements to our site the City of Agawam will be able to increase its community engagement and enhance the communication between residents, visitors and the local government.
