On Friday, April 3, 2020 Governor Baker signed into law Chapter 53 of the Acts of 2020. Mayor William P. Sapelli is therefore announcing 4th quarter fiscal year 2020 real estate tax and personal property tax payments are now due by June 1, 2020. The due date for payment is June 1, 2020 even if the due date on your previously mailed real estate tax and/or personal property tax bill is May 1, 2020. Please note, even if municipal offices are closed on June 1, 2020 the due date for payment is not further extended beyond June 1, 2020.
For those of you who have already made your 4th quarter tax payments, thank you. For those of you who are able to make your 4th quarter tax payments prior to June 1st, we encourage you to do so.
