As part of the May Hollow Culvert Replacement Project, Agawam’s contractor, Loureiro Construction, will be milling and paving a small portion of South Westfield Street beginning around 4am on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025. Work is anticipated to continue until approximately noon on October 14th. If there is rain, work will proceed on October 15th.
During this time, North Westfield Street will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of North Street/North Street Ext. and North Westfield Street to the intersection of North West Street and North Westfield Street. Local traffic will have access to Parkedge Drive from the north and Provin Mountain Drive from the south. See attached detour map.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly. Trash and recycling pick-up services are not anticipating a significant delay.
Please be aware that the construction schedule dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or necessary emergency work.
