The nineteenth season of the Agawam Cultural Council’s Applause Series continues on March 3, 2023, with a musical visit to 1960s London. Richie Mitnick & Joe Saimeri: Tom Jones and Englebert – “The Way it Used to Be” will present the music of those musical icons. The performance will take place at the Agawam Senior Center, 954 Main Street, Agawam; showtime is 7:00 PM; doors open at 6:15 PM. This performance will also be livestreamed on Agawam Channel 15.
Richie Mitnick, famous throughout the region for turning his keyboard into an entire orchestra, presents the golden voice of Joe Saimeri, one of New England’s finest performers. Audience’s will marvel at Joe’s amazing interpretation of hit songs such as “Delilah,” “She’s A Lady,” and “The Way It Used To Be.”

All Applause Series events are free and open to the public. The Agawam Cultural Council is an all-volunteer local partner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and is funded, in part, by the MCC. The ACC is charged with bringing engaging, entertaining, and educational events and opportunities in the arts, humanities, and sciences, to children and adults from Agawam and the surrounding communities. There is no cost to join or serve.
