Beautification Committee
The Agawam Beautification Committee is made up of town residents who volunteer their time, energies, and talents to make Agawam a more attractive place to live.

Cable Television Commission
The Commission shall meet semiannually and evaluate the compliance by the cable company with the provisions of the town's Franchise License Agreement, Massachusetts General Laws and Congressional Cable Communications Policy Acts.

Cemetery
The amount budgeted here is to satisfy the Town's obligation to maintain the veterans graves and the Town lot in the Springfield Street Cemetery and the Agawam Center Cemetery.

Commission on Disabilities

Energy Commission
The Town of Agawam’s Energy Commission is tasked to identify, develop, implement, and manage programs and policies that achieve high levels of energy efficiencies and resource sustainability.

Golf Commission
The Agawam Municipal Golf Commission is responsible to advise and assist in the maintenance, promotion, development and administration of the Agawam Municipal Golf Course.

Historical Commission
The Agawam Historical Commission was created to assist with the preservation, protection and development of the historical or archeological assets found within the Town of Agawam. The commission shall consist of not less than three nor more than seven members.

Housing Committee
The Agawam Housing Committee was established in 2014 by the Agawam City Council to consider the town's housing needs, with particular attention to housing opportunities that are affordable to households of all income levels and abilities.

Zoning Board of Appeals
On a case-by-base basis, the Board of Appeals has the power to hear and decide on petitions for appeals, special permits, variances and comprehensive permits.

Whiting Street and Thomas Pyne Funds
The funds, bequeathed to the Town of Agawam in the last wills of Whiting Street in 1881 and Desiree Pyne, on behalf of her husband Thomas Pyne in 1891, were accepted and therefore established the fund only to be used to benefit the “worthy poor” in the Town of Agawam. The Board of commissioners shall, so far as consistent with the terms of the wills, manage, and control the same, consider applications for assistance and distribute the income in accordance with the terms of the respective wills. The principle of both funds may not be used and must remain as a perpetual fund. The Commission, consisting of a chairperson and two members, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council shall meet when an applicant, who must be a resident of the Town applies for funds. Funds have previously been used to help adult residents in emergency situations such as loss of housing, loss of utilities due to income issues, loss of employment, emergency non-covered medical situations
