Mission Statement:
The goal of the Office of Planning and Community Development is to assist in the overall growth of the community in an orderly and managed approach to promote economic development while preserving community character and natural resources. The Office of Planning and Community Development oversees the preparation of comprehensive plans and studies which guide growth while balancing community needs and resources.
The Office of Planning and Community Development houses many different areas of responsibility for the Town of Agawam. These areas are divided into three specific categories: Planning, Community Development/Economic Development and Conservation.
