Clerk

The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for maintaining all the Town’s official records and documents.  The Clerk’s Office exercises responsibility for the operation of all elections and maintains voter records.  Yearly licensing for Class I and Class II Car Dealer’s, Automatic Amusement Devices, Weekly Amusement, Junk Dealer’s, Liquor Licenses and Gas Storage permits are all issued through the Clerk’s Office.  Meetings are posted for the public both in the Clerk’s Office and on the community board outside.  Marriage intentions can be filed and marriage licenses obtained, along with certified copies of births and deaths.  The Clerk’s Office also issues business certificates and conducts the yearly census.
