We are currently closed to the public related to COVID19. Please call 413-821-0604 if you need assistance related to the Senior Center.
The Agawam Council on Aging is dedicated to meeting the information, service, and recreation needs of older adults in our community. The Council on Aging and Senior Center provide a place to promote a spirit of healthy, positive, aging through education and activities for all seniors, their families, and the community at large.
Though the way in which we provide our services has changed in lieu of COVID19, our underlying mission and purpose has become more necessary than ever.
While you are busy fighting the spread of COVID19 through proper handwashing and other important methods of social distancing, know that the COA is working hard to come up with ways to help bring you together and engage your mind in virtual opportunities.
I want to strongly encourage all of you who have access to the internet through a computer, phone, tablet or other device to consider becoming more familiar with how to use it. Join facebook, peruse youtube, create an email and call your friends to tell them how to reach you. While COVID19 has us social distancing from one and other, we can utilize the resources available to us to find ways to reconnect. If you need help reach out to us, we will do what we can to help you navigate the technology.
