Good day and welcome to the Agawam Fire Department web site! I’ve had the honor and pleasure of serving the Agawam Fire Department since 2001, being promoted from Firefighter, to Lieutenant, to Deputy Chief, and finally Chief in 2011. I began my fire service career in 1994 serving the Scarborough Maine Fire Department where I grew up.
In 1999, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services Management at Springfield College and obtained the National Registry Paramedic Certification that I still hold today. I am also trained as a Hazardous Materials Technician and serve as a member of the State Department of Fire Services Hazardous Materials Response Team.
In addition to my emergency services background, I am a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003.
Myself and the men and women of the Agawam Fire Department are here to serve the public to the best of our ability. As an all hazards response service, we are equipped to respond to almost any public safety emergency. It is my duty to lead and work beside some of the best trained emergency responders in Massachusetts and ensure that we provide safe, professional, and timely response whenever we are called upon.
If you have any questions about the Agawam Fire Department you may contact myself or any of my staff. For updates on department activities visit our website or follow us on Facebook.
